"The X Factor" is set to launch its U.S. version in the fall of 2011 and according to Radar Online, Nicole Scherzinger has the "inside track" on a spot on the judges' panel.
Scherzinger will fill in for the pregnant Dannii Minogue on the British talent show when an audition episode tapes next week and an insider tells Radar that if she does well, it will give her a leg up on the U.S. version when the panel is being put together.
Nicole recently won "Dancing With the Stars," she was a Pussycat Doll member and she has a bit of judging experience from NBC's "The Sing Off," the a capella competition show that aired last December.
What do you think about Nicole as a judge? Paula Abdul is another name that has been tossed about, but is there room for the two of them or will the show follow the typical male-female-male format?
