Ali Fedotowsky says when she brought her fiancé — and Bachelorette winner — Roberto Martinez to meet the family, her uncle had quite the strong reaction.

"When my uncle met him, it brought him to tears," the reality starlet, 25, told PEOPLE at Kari Feinstein's style lounge in Beverly Hills. "Really, it brought him to tears."

Agreeing with his niece's decision to give Martinez, 26, the final rose, Fedotowsky's uncle told her, "I've never seen a love so genuine that you guys have for each other."

But Fedotowsky, who adds that her parents "adore" Martinez, says it's not just family who has had the chance to meet her future hubby. "We're all about being with friends and having friends around," she says. "We went up to San Francisco and visited my friends. We're going back to my hometown in Massachusetts next week."

So, does Fedotowsky think her romance with Martinez will outlive the fallen Bachelor couples?

"Absolutely," she says, "no question."
