{alltv} Anderson Cooper escapes from oil at the zoo

 

It isn't all hard news and oil spills for Anderson Cooper. The CNN poster boy, who's spent much of the summer reporting from the Gulf of Mexico and also made a return visit to Haiti, was taking in the Central Park Zoo with New York bar owner Benjamin Maisani and some of Maisani's family members Friday afternoon. A spy told us, "Cooper and Maisani were with what looked like Ben's brother and his kids. They were in the reptile house and then went over to the penguin house, which was rather smelly. They looked like they were having a good time."
