With the rumor mill already in high gear, ABC wants you to know that it will be another month before it reveals the cast of Season 11 of "Dancing With the Stars." The network will drop the big news during the August 30 broadcast of "Bachelor Pad."
This should put to rest recent rumblings that the deadline for negotiations was at hand, but it definitely won't silence the speculation about who'll make a play for the sparkly disco ball trophy thing during the September 20 premiere.
The latest name getting tossed around? Oksana Grigorieva. Radar reports that Mel Gibson's embattled ex is in "secret" talks to join the cast, but they may fall through now that publicist Howard Bragman dropped her as a client.
Another would-be dancer, also currently in the press for all the wrong reasons, is Lindsay Lohan. Judge Carrie Ann Inaba tells E! that the jailbird is her first choice for the next season. Sadly, Lohan's mandatory 90-day visit to rehab hasn't even started, so don't hang your hat on that one.
Previously, "Jersey Shore" cast member Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino was said to be in talks to join the series, and "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Teresa Giudice mentioned on Twitter that she was considering appearing on "DWTS" herself.
At least we can still count Troy Aikman out.
