As a convincing and conniving con man with two separate identities in the new series Lone Star, James Wolk plays someone who is equally in love with two women.
Do you think it's possible to love two women at once, James? "I say five," Wolk said. "I don't know. I've been in love and know what that feeling is like, so for the character I kind of multiplied that by two. As the actor playing it, I have to believe that sort of love is possible in order to do justice to the character.
"In my own life, I haven't experienced that feeling, but I imagine it would be pretty interesting if one did."
Make no mistake, Lone Star - which debuts Monday, Sept. 20 on Fox and Global - is not a love story, per se. It's about a brilliant career white-collar criminal, played by Wolk, who starts to feel guilty about the people he's bilking.
Lone Star also features Jon Voight, David Keith, Eloise Mumford and Adrianne Palicki.
