Kelly Osbourne has a bone to pick with Kylie Minogue's sister.
The newly minted star of E!'s Fashion Police defended her mum's honor on Twitter over the weekend, launching a tirade against X-Factor judge and singer Dannii Minogue for claiming fellow panelist Sharon Osbourne made Minogue cry during her first night on the British talent show.
"The best thing to happen to Dannii's career was that my mother hated her she needs to shut her mouth and concenterate [sic] on motherhood!," Kelly tweeted.
The younger Osbourne was peeved over Minogue's assertion in in her memoir, My Story, that she was steamrolled by Sharon when two began working together on X-Factor with Simon Cowell.
Specifically, Minogue wrote that Sharon "demanded to know why I hadn't gone to the press to tell them what a nice person [she] was," causing her to burst into tears.
But Kelly calls bunk on that.
"I will be the first one to admit that my mother did not play her cards right when came to dannii but trust me when i say dannii is the devil," Kelly tweeted.
And there's more:
- "dannii you are so lucky that i respect Simon [Cowell] enough to not tell the truth about what really happened. wa wa wa you poor middle aged victum [sic]"
- "to the 12 dannii fans out there i ask you this question what would you do if someone wrote a book of lies about your mother?"
- "i think you all forget i was there i saw everything and if my mum was the "bully" why was she the one the left the show?"
- "sorry i have just had to deal with this bulls--t 4 years and i have kept my mouth shut but i am sick and tired of her lies enough is enough"
Minogue has yet to respond to the charges either via Twitter or in a press statement.
Likewise, Sharon is keeping quiet and letting her daughter do the talking so far.
