Do you know this man, Brad Womack?
In case you don't have already have a pitchfork with his name on it, he was giver of the roses on ABC's "The Bachelor's" 11th season and he's the breaker of Jenni Croft and DeAnna Pappas' hearts (and apparently every woman's in America as well) as he chose neither woman in the show's shocking finale. Don't let that smile fool you: He's the self-proclaimed "biggest jerk in America."
Now, Womack is getting his second shot at love in Season 15, and he says he's a changed man. If this first look at the new season is any indication, Womack isn't going to have it easy, but at least it'll be fun for us to watch 25 vulnerable women compete for a man they all think is emotionally closed off. Sounds like a recipe for success! Here are six things we loved about the preview:
No. 6: Womack's array of plaid shirts
We're superficial. Whatever.
No. 5: What did the five fingers say to the face?
After getting out of the limo to see her sure-to-be-future-husband, one contestant is not pleased when she finds out it is Womack. "I have something for you," she says before slapping him across the face. "That's from every woman in America." We guarantee this woman will later say she is still close with all of her ex-boyfriends.
No. 4: Rain, thunder, and lightning, oh my!
Throughout the clip, you can see lightning strike and rain pouring down. Even God doesn't think Womack deserves a second chance! Point for the women of America.
No. 3: "If a chick gets in between me and my guy, it's not gonna be a pretty picture."
Says a contestant on a reality dating show. We're guessing she'll be house enemy No. 1.
No. 2: Let's play "how many times can Brad be dissed in three minutes"!
Here's just a sampling of the criticisms made by the women about their would-be dream man:
- "I need to know that you're going to be able to make a decision."
- "It didn't work the first time, why is it gonna work the second?"
- "I'm not in the mood for another heartbreak."
- "Is he scared of commitment?"
- "What if he doesn't find the right girl again?"
Lather. Rinse. Repeat.
No. 1: The statement so nice, they played it twice
"I've done a lot of soul-searching and I know in my heart I'm very, very ready to fall in love," Womack says -- twice -- in the clip. Prepare to hear a lot about being "a changed man," "soul-searching," and "pushing people away" in between hot tub makeout sessions throughout the season.
