Former American Idol judge Kara DioGuardi is writing a memoir about her time at the judges' table.
The book, titled A Helluva High Note: Surviving Life, Love, and American Idol, will be published by It Books, a division of HarperCollins, a rep for the publisher confirms.
DioGuardi left Idol after two seasons amid a major shuffle that ended with Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler becoming new judges of the Fox reality hit. Last month, DioGuardi, 39, landed a new judging gig on Bravo's singing competition show, Going Platinum, which is set to premiere next year.
