Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi knows the best way to wash down a night of bubbly – and that's with more bubbly.
Calling champagne the "New Year's Eve drink," the pint-sized Jersey Shore star, 23, tells PEOPLE her most tried-and-true hangover cure is simple: "Drink more!" she says.
After ringing in the New Year inside a ball dropping in Seaside Heights N.J., Polizzi partied with boyfriend Jionni LaValle while hosting the NewYearsEve.com after party at Madame Tussauds wax museum in New York City.
Decked out in diamond bling and a sparkling black dress, Polizzi danced into the wee hours of the New Year – Jersey Shore-style. But the Jersey girl plans on getting serious – at least about her New Year's Resolution.
"I want to stick to my diet and work with my trainer," she says. "And lose weight."
And with 2010 in the past – a year of disorderly conduct charges and heavy drinking – Polizzi says it's not a bitter goodbye.
"I don't have regrets – there are only lessons," she says. "You learn from them, and you become a better person. That's what I feel."
