Lyndsy Fonseca is no wallflower. Heck, at the recent Television Critics Association tour, she appeared on a panel dubbed, "The Kickass Women of the CW."
But when the subject turned to kickass inspirations, Fonseca, who plays Alex on the Toronto-shot action TV series Nikita, gave a surprising answer.
"I'm a big Audrey Hepburn fanatic," said Fonseca, 24. "She always had such great confidence and I always aspired to be like that."
Audrey Hepburn? Take that, Wonder Woman!
Fonseca gets to flex her muscles even more as Alex gets her first assassination assignment in a new episode of Nikita titled Coup de Grace, which airs Thursday on CW and A.
"Alex graduates to full agent and she faces a lot more responsibility," said Fonseca, who also has had recurring roles on Desperate Housewives, How I Met Your Mother, Big Love and The Young and the Restless. "Alex is balancing going on her jobs with Division and, you know, helping Nikita (Maggie Q) out.
"So there's a lot of really exciting stuff coming and the show changes for the better, I think."
