Former "Young and the Restless" star Brenda Dickson's seven-year divorce case has already packed as much drama as a Hollywood story -- and now there is even more. The divorce case was ordered to be retried because the state Supreme Court ruled that the first trial was unfair to Dickson. During her battled with then-family court Judge Darryl Choy, Dickson was shown on television giving a "heil Hitler" salute to her ex-husband, Jan Weinberg, and the judge. She had spend several weeks in jail after refusing to turn over her Beverly Hills apartment to Weinberg, as ordered by the judge. On Feb. 9, when a pretrial hearing was scheduled, court records show Weinberg had not arrived at the family court at Kapolei. His attorney, Steven Hisaka, told Judge Paul Murakami that he had contacted Weinberg by phone to remind him of the hearing the night before and Weinberg told him he was out of the country. Hisaka said Weinberg would not tell him exactly where, other than to say it had a 14-hour time difference from Hawaii. The judge issued a warrant for Weinberg, and ordered that the trial should begin this week as scheduled. Weinberg has been absent all three days of the trial over property division and there is a $300,000 warrant for his arrest if he returns to Hawaii. Dickson said she believes Weinberg has drained their bank accounts and fled.
