The Bronx Zoo's missing cobra, thanks to a hilarious Twitter account, dominated conversation on the Internet this week.
Most Tweets detailed the reptile's whereabouts: "Thinking about seeing 'How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.' That Daniel Radcliffe really speaks to me." And although the cobra was finally found, it looks like she had one last stop: a meeting with Ryan Seacrest.
In honor of April Fools' Day on Friday, Seacrest's Twitter and official Web site were taken over by the fanged cobra. And the slithery celebrity wasn't holding back, taking swipes at the American Idol host and other stars.
"BREAKING: Ryan Seacrest has been found & is being returned to his enclosure in the pygmy marmoset exhibit at the L.A. Zoo," Tweeted the snake, who linked to a photo of the diminutive star, then wrote, "Sure it sucks being locked up, but the good news is I'm a celebrity now so I should be able to pull a @LindsayLohan and be out by dinner."
On Seacrest's Web site, the cobra offers the Dos and Don'ts for Dating a Cobra and other snake-filled photo galleries.
The cobra's such an impressive writer, we're prepared to offer the reptile her own desk – er, habitat – at PEOPLE.com. Just please don't, you know, bite us.
