The owner of a bar where tragic Jackass star Ryan Dunn partied with pals just hours before his death in a car crash has denied the TV prankster was drunk.
Dunn and an unidentified pal were killed in the early hours of Monday morning when the star's Porsche spun out of control and crashed into trees, bursting into flames.
The pair had been driving along a road in West Goshen Township, Pennsylvania following a night out. A photo reportedly posted online hours before the tragedy showed Dunn and two pals sipping drinks in a bar, sparking speculation alcohol may have been a factor in the fatal crash.
But Jim O'Brien, who runs a bar in nearby West Chester where Dunn allegedly spent part of Sunday evening, is adamant the star only had "a couple" of bottles of beer.
O'Brien tells the New York Daily News, "I wouldn't call it partying. Ryan wasn't one of the wild guys you would see on Jackass. He never really got drunk here. He was always just quiet and did his own thing... We would have stopped him if he had too many drinks. What happened was a tragic accident."
