Eileen Fulton, who portrayed Lisa Miller Grimaldi on TV's "As the World Turns" for almost 50 years, will play Mrs. Higgins in the Connecticut Repertory Theatre production of "My Fair Lady," starring Terrence Mann and choreographed by Charlotte d'Amboise. Richard Ruiz (Nicely Nicely in Long Wharf theatre's "Guys and Dolls") plays Alfred P. Doolittle.
The Nutmeg Summer Series show will play July 7 to July 17 at Harriet S. Jorgensen Theatre on the UConn campus in Storrs. Vincent J. Cardinal, CRT's artistic director, will stage the production.
Mann originated the Broadway roles of Rum Tum Tugger in "Cats," Javert in "Les Miserables" and the Beast in "Beauty and the Beast." He made his Broadway debut in 1982 in "Barnum" sand was most recently in "The Addams Family." He was also in "The Scarlet Pimpernel," "Jerome Robbins' Broadway," "The Rocky Horror Show," "Assassins," "Lennon" and "Getting Away with Murder."
