Comedian Darrell Hammond was forced to cancel the closing performance of his play over the weekend after he was injured in a car crash.
The former Saturday Night Live regular was travelling in the passenger seat of a friend's car when another vehicle smashed into them in Sag Harbor, New York.
Hammond was left hurt and bruised in the accident, which caused him to cancel the finale of his one-man play Tru at the city's Bay Street Theatre on Saturday.
The TV star is currently resting at home with minor injuries, reports New York Post gossip column Page Six.
