Flavor Flav admits he got into a motorcycle accident and threw Warner chief Lyor Cohen's bride, model E.K. Smith, into a pool during her wedding to the music mogul in the Dominican Republic. In "Flavor Flav: The Icon, The Memoir," the former Public Enemy rapper writes of the wedding on April Fool's Day 1988: "That's where I learned to ride a motorcycle . . . The first time I got on . . . I drove it up a wall . . . I also pushed [her] into the pool, and she chipped her tooth. One thing I can tell you is, do not chip a model's tooth. She was mad at your boy!" Cohen and Smith later divorced. Flav, who was crack-addicted through much of the '90s, later fell out with Cohen, then president of Def Jam Records, because Cohen refused to lend him money after the IRS froze Flav's assets for not paying taxes. But they've since reconciled, and Flav now says he owes Cohen his life. "I think Lyor knew that if he had given me the money, I might have killed myself with drugs," Flav writes. Cohen, now Warner Music Group vice chairman and dating Tory Burch, called Flav "one of the greatest people I've ever known."
