HBO and BBC have given the green light to Parade's End, a five-part World War I miniseries, Deadline.com reports.
Based on the series of novels from Ford Madox Ford, the miniseries follows the story of a conservative English aristocrat (Benedict Cumberbatch, Sherlock) who finds himself in a love triangle with his wife (Rebecca Hall) and a young suffragette.
Written by Shakespeare in Love's Tom Stoppard, Parade's End will be executive-produced by Michele Buck and Damien Timmer. The series is slated to begin shooting in the fall.
