Jackass star Bam Margera made a grim prediction several years ago that his late pal Ryan Dunn would one day be involved in a horrific car crash.
The TV prankster passed away on Monday after his Porsche spun out of control at high speed and smashed into trees in West Goshen Township, Pennsylvania, also killing passenger Zachary Hartwell.
A toxicology report shows Dunn was more than double the drinking and driving limit at the time of the accident, with suggestions his vehicle may have been travelling at up to 140 miles (225 kilometres) per hour.
Five years before the tragedy, Margera openly criticized his friend's driving skills and predicted he would suffer injuries in a serious road smash.
In an episode of Margera's MTV show Viva La Bam in 2006, he was heard discussing Dunn's driving ability with his mother after the pair took part in a Lamborghini-versus-limousine race.
Margera said, "He's the worst driver... He's gonna eat it (get injured) one of these times."
Margera's mom added, "The car he almost killed you kids in was not his car... He'll never learn his lesson... He always drives like an a**hole, I'm serious. I'll tell you, he's gonna eat it some day in a car accident."
Another friend in the video also voices his concerns, adding, "I have him in the death pool for death by vehicle."
