After last week's bloodbath on So You Think You Can Dance, the judges only had to choose one couple to go home this week — but even that proved to be a difficult decision.
Let's take a look at who was saved first. After sharing a steamy kiss on stage and off, frontrunners Melanie and Marko were the first to be declared safe. Sasha and Alexander also hit a high enough note after their piano number to stay in the competition.
Jordan and Tadd's one-night-stand piece, which Mary Murphy said "put the whammy" on the crowd, kept them in the running. Ryan and Ricky, as well as Jess and Clarice -- whose foxtrot was hailed by guest judge Kristin Chenoweth as her favorite routine of the night -- were also spared for another week.
Ashley and Chris, whose Sonya Tayeh number about zombies left much to be desired, landed in the bottom three, while Miranda and Robert found themselves at the bottom for the second time this season. Caitlyn and Mitchell rounded out the three couples who would be dancing for their lives.
After six decent solos, it was time to send two more dancers home. Though judge Nigel Lythgoe called Miranda the most-improved girl on Wednesday night, the judges decided to send her home, though it was not a unanimous decision. However, the judges all agreed to (finally) send Robert home, despite a very energetic solo.
What did you think of the judges' decision to eliminate Miranda and Robert?
