You know her as the super-speedy Daphne from "Heroes," but Brea Grant is taking on a new role this fall on "Dexter" and she tells Zap2it that her intern Ryan is more than a match for the dirty-minded lab tech Vince Masuka (C.S. Lee).
"I'm playing the character Ryan Chambers and I'm a new lab intern with Masuka," says Grant. "I'm sort of relegated to the lab more than anything else and play with Masuka and all of his crude comments."
"She is his perfect match in that she likes it," Grant continues. "She's thinks it's funny and she can play as well, she can meet him on his own level. She's very sexy, cool, chill."
So far Grant has shot four episodes, so we look forward to seeing her as a recurring character. Hopefully she'll stick around! And can she tell us anything about the "Dexter" Season 6?
"This season has a lot of religious elements in it. That's sort of exciting to see all that play out. There's some great guest stars, it's always amazing when you go to a table read and you're sitting next to Edward James Olmos and Colin Hanks," Grant laughs.
"I'm a total fan of the show, it's an amazing show. I think it has so many places it has been and so many places it can still go, which is terribly exciting," Grant continues. "Sometimes shows get into their 5th and 6th season and you're like where can you go? But "Dexter" is still so strong, it's really refreshing."
"Dexter" will be back for its sixth season in September.
