• Ashlee Simpson and new beau Vincent Piazza were extremely touchy-feely during brunch at La Bottega inside New York's Maritime Hotel. The new couple held hands across the table during the meal, and Simpson looked really cute in her fedora and pixie cut, an onlooker says. The Big Apple brunch date also comes on the heels of Piazza's recent visit to L.A. to see Simpson.

• Julianne Hough frolicked on Miami Beach – not with beau Ryan Seacrest, but with her mom, Marriann, and her costar, Diego Boneta. The actress, who's filming Rock of Ages in Florida, enjoyed her downtime, swimming in the ocean and in her condo pool. "Julianne and her mom were having a blast, skipping through the waves, holding hands and enjoying the beautiful summer day," says a source.

• Newlyweds LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian dined together at Red O in L.A., chatting closely throughout their meal. They shared most of their food – and it must have been hot! Cibrian and his wife kept bouncing their tortillas back and forth between their hands to cool them off.

• Ryan Reynolds dined with his brother at Keg Steakhouse & Bar in Vancouver's Yaletown. The actor ducked in a side door to avoid causing a scene, but was later spotted at the Charles Bar in Gastown having a low-key night with his brother and some good friends.

• Kristen Wiig played a pastry chef in her hit comedy Bridesmaids – and she looked right at home enjoying a chocolate croissant and a cappuccino at Plaisir Bakery in West Hollywood. "She was all smiles, and she took her time deciding on what she wanted to go with her coffee," an onlooker says. "You could tell she was just enjoying a relaxing, low-key day."
