Stargate Universe's Brian J. Smith was last seen on a ship in deep space, but apparently he made it back to Earth after all.
The actor will join the cast of Gossip Girl as a chef named Max, TVLine reports.
In the Sept. 26 premiere, viewers will be introduced to Max in Los Angeles, where Serena (Blake Lively) was visiting over the summer. Is it possible some summer lovin' is on the menu?
Before landing his gigs on Gossip Girl and Stargate Universe, Smith was a stage actor in New York.
Gossip Girl returns for Season 5 on Monday, Sept. 26 at 8/7c.
