The casting shuffle at "Law & Order: SVU" continues, but the latest faces being dealt into the show's 13th season are ones fans already know.
NBC says that Stephanie March and Diane Neal will reprise their roles as prosecutors Alexandra Cabot and Casey Novak in 2011-12. Each actress will appear in multiple episodes, although exact numbers haven't been determined yet.
March was a regular on the show from 2000-03 and has had a recurring part in the past couple of seasons. Neal came onboard in the fall of 2003 and stayed through the 2007-08 season; she guest-starred in an April episode.
Their return to "SVU" comes on the heels of Christopher Meloni departing the series and the casting of Kelli Giddish and Danny Pino as two new detectives. Mariska Hargitay remains on the show but will have a somewhat reduced role in the coming season.
"SVU" also has a new showrunner in Warren Leight, who worked on "L&O: Criminal Intent" for several seasons. Neal tweeted to her new boss on Tuesday, "@WarrenLeightTV, Looking forward to the criminal beat down with you. Fun will be had by all. Well, all but the perps:)"
"Law & Order: SVU" will air at 10 p.m. ET Wednesdays in the fall; NBC hasn't announced its premiere date yet.
