Turner Classic Movie host Robert Osborne, 79, is taking a leave of absence to undergo minor surgery. TCM said in a statement that the veteran movie host will undergo minor surgery, but didn't specify a particular ailment.
Osborne has been a TCM host since 1994, and will take a vacation after his surgery, reports EW.com. But the channel says he plans to return in three months. He's still planning to be part of the first TCM Classic Cruise in December. Helping to fill the void while he's gone will be celeb guest hosts including Tippi Hedren, Jane Powell and Robert Wagner.
