• Jessica Simpson and fiancé Eric Johnson enjoyed a cozy afternoon with his parents at James Beach in Venice, Calif. A scruffy Eric drank a beer and Jessica had a cocktail with a lime wedge. "They looked adorable. Eric had his arm around Jessica as they sat at the bar. And they were taking cute photos on their phones," an eyewitness tells us.
• Megan Mullally and hubby Nick Offerman (of Parks & Recreation) shared a lovely dinner with Patricia Clarkson on the patio at West Hollywood's Chateau Marmont. The trio chatted all night – and Mullally's distinctive laugh rang out over the patio. The ladies were wrapped in scarves and seemed "upbeat and bubbly" during their meal, according to an onlooker. Says the onlooker: "It definitely appeared like they were old pals catching up."
• Quirky couple Amber Tamblyn and comedian David Cross joined two friends on the patio at Oscar's Cerveteca in Venice, Calif., for drinks – beer for him, rosé for her – and casual conversation. The group chatted for hours, and the couple sat side by side, often joking around with each other. Before heading out, the four friends split the bill.
