Former Will & Grace star Sean Hayes is returning to his TV roots after landing a deal to oversee and star in a new sitcom.
The actor thrilled fans on Broadway last year with a lead role in Promises, Promises, but he's heading back to the small screen for a comedy series on America's NBC network.
In a post on his Twitter.com page, he writes, "I'm very excited to report that I'm working with NBC to develop a sitcom that I will star in next year. More to come! Stay tuned!"
