"Pretty Little Liars" executive producer Marlene King spoke with Zap2it in preparation for the Season 2 summer finale. We can now reveal a few of the juicy tidbits she told us about the episode.
In Tuesday night's penultimate episode, "I Must Confess," the Liars told Dr. Sullivan about "A." Between the creepy phone call replaying her session with the Liars and the fact that she figured out who "A" is, we are not feeling good about Dr. Sullivan's safety for the summer finale.
King tells us of Dr. Sullivan, "Yes, she is in danger. She does discover who 'A' is and to quote Spencer in the finale, 'The last time someone thought they knew who A was, they got hit by a car. Sorry Hanna.' She plays a huge part in the finale."
Yikes. We can hardly wait. And what other little tidbits can King tease for the summer finale? Well, Emily is ready to come out of hiding.
"[Emily] has definitely been 'A's' target in the way that Spencer really took the brunt of 'A' last season," says King. "Emily has been A's target for the whole first half of Season 2, 'A' thinks she's the weak link, that's for sure. That is going to come to a very climactic head soon."
Any other little teases?
"We have not seen the last of Caleb, he comes back in the finale. I'm happy to say that," says King. And she adds, "The PLLs are in grave jeopardy throughout the finale."
The "Pretty Little Liars" summer finale airs Tuesday, Aug. 30 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC Family.
