"JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE" CROSSES THE BORDER INTO CANADA
FOR THE 2011 TORONTO INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL
For the first time ever, "Jimmy Kimmel Live" will cross into Canadian territory. Jimmy Kimmel will attend the 2011 Toronto International Film Festival along with Guillermo, the show's parking lot security guard. Guillermo will report live from red carpets at various movie premieres around town.
"Every September the world turns its attention to Toronto as we roll out 11 days of fantastic films from around the world," said Cameron Bailey, Co-Director of the Toronto International Film Festival. "Torontonians are known for their sense of humor, and we look forward to seeing what 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' has in store not only for TIFF but the city of Toronto."
"Jimmy Kimmel Live" is broadcast nightly at 12:00 a.m. on all ABC TV affiliates in the U.S., and in Canada on CHCH Ontario, Metro 14 Montreal and CHEK Victoria. The September 12th to 15th broadcasts of the show will feature Toronto through a partnership with Tourism Toronto, Ontario Tourism Marketing Partnership Corporation, Tourism Partnership of Niagara, the Canadian Tourism Commission and Air Canada.
