Curb Your Enthusiasm's Larry David is headed to New York City for half of its upcoming eighth season of ten new episodes, meaning Larry will be meeting characters similar to those who tortured Jerry, Elaine, Kramer and George during Seinfeld's celebrated run. Here are just some of the colorful eighth-season characters who no doubt will be making Larry anxious to return to his familiar west coast annoyances.
A fit personal trainer named Terry, who will be helping Larry get in the best shape of his life. And he'll need to be, considering everything he has to deal with.
On his first-class flight, Larry will meet an attractive and smart lady named Donna, who finds Larry heroic. Also on the plane: a fat intoxicated businessman who confronts a flight attendant and a man in coach who doesn't want first-class passenger Larry using the coach bathroom.
Larry will attend a party in a New York loft where he will meet Henry Horn and his elderly father, a retired judge, who suffers from dementia and throws out racist remarks. The old judge will end up playing Scrabble with a one-armed repairman.
Larry will likely be switching business managers, replacing Nathan Stein with Sidney Rosenbloom.
Larry will have his cab stolen by an aggressive New York woman.
Larry will date a woman named Jane Cohen, who is a baseball fan. Turns out she's bisexual and also dating one of Larry's female friends.
Larry will also meet Ally, an emotional actress in a Broadway play who has concerns about her marriage.
Larry will have it out with the manager of a Japanese restaurant (reminiscent of Seinfeld's Soup Nazi) after a problem occurs with Larry's takeout order.
Larry will be annoyed by a snoopy waiter whose career ambitionsget in the way of his service.
And what New York adventure would be complete without a mugging? Fortunately, it's one of Larry's friends who will be victimized.
Are you excited about Curb Your Enthusiasm's 8th season?
