Barbara Walters made some TV insiders cringe when she told NBC "Nightly News" anchor Brian Williams on Larry King's final CNN show Thursday, "You see, if I hadn't left, I would have your job today. Do you realize that?" One source said, "Nobody has any doubt what a pioneering journalist Barbara is. Why does she feel the need to keep reminding everybody?" But Walters said the comment, which Williams passed off with a laugh, was in jest. She told us, "Brian and I were teasing each other all night. It was meant to be a joke and was taken as such. Of course, I would never have his job."
