Fast National ratings for Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2010
Better late than never. NBC's rescheduled "Sunday Night Football" match-up between the Minnesota Vikings and the Philadelphia Eagles easily besting the night in viewers and adults 18-49.
NBC averaged 21.5 million viewers and a 12.5 rating/21 share in households for the night, toppling second-place CBS (9.8 million, 6.3/10), which had an otherwise strong showing for the 2010 "Kennedy Center Honors". FOX placed third with 4.0 million viewers and a 2.5/4, with ABC (3.7 million, 2.4/4) in fourth and the CW in last (814,000, 0.5/1).
NBC also boasts the best numbers in the 18-49 demographic in over a week, with a 7.3 rating for the night. No other network even cracked a the 2.0 mark, with CBS in second (1.6), FOX in third (1.3), ABC in fourth (1.0) and CW pulling up the rear (0.3).
