{alltv} 'The Biggest Loser': Q doesn't stand for quitter

In "The Biggest Loser: Couples" on Wednesday (Feb. 2) we learned that Q doesn't stand for "quitter," though we had our doubts. We can't say the same for Don, though.

In an early weigh-in, Don had a lot to prove after his twin brother went home in the last episode after they both gained nine pounds. Coming out of that, Don vowed they didn't sabotage themselves on purpose. Well, we tried to believe him until this week. He stepped on to the scale and once gain he had gained weight - this time with Irene as his partner. The pair had gained six pounds each and Irene fesses up quickly that they did it on purpose.

Don didn't want to stay and the Bo-Jilly team orchestrated the plan, so that he would be able to leave. That's fine, Don, get your emo behind out of here. But, we don't believe you anymore. Not only did you and your biggest gainer twin brother keep another deserving couple out of the contest, but this time you left Irene with a deficit to deal with before the next weigh-in. Hope you're proud of yourself, coppa.

This week, The Unknowns joined the Bo-Jilly teams on the ranch. But before that, their trainers wanted to get another good workout in. This time, they wanted to emphasize its team-building as part of the workout. So, when Q decided to ignore Unknowns' trainer Cara and do his own thing, it didn't fly well with the team. They pretty much decided that if he and his wife Larialmy found themselves below the yellow line, Q was going home.

At the final weigh-in, both teams were fighting for different reasons. Host Alison Sweeney told the Bo-Jilly team that if they could beat their previous weight loss total (which, duh, was inflated by Don and Irene's 12 pound weight gain), they would all get immunity. The other team was just playing to stay in their first week without immunity.

The Bo-Jilly team exceeded their goal easily (despite the drama the editors tried to throw in), but The Unknowns had a race on their hands. Unexpectedly, the pink team (the only all-girl team for The Unknowns and the underdogs) rallied for a huge weight loss that put them comfortably at the top of the scoring board. Although they posted strong numbers, the red team found themselves up for elimination.

Here's where it gets crazy. Q and Larialmy decided she should go, because he needed the motivation of the ranch more than she did. We're never sure if he overwhelms his wife and if she truly agreed to that, but we have to believe them. So, despite their own desire to send Q home, The Unknowns respected their wishes and kept Q. While he agreed that he'd stay on program going forward, we wish they sent him home. First, because we think he's a bad apple and second, we were looking forward to getting to know Larialmy when she wasn't standing in her husband's shadow.
