Actress Leighton Meester can add comedienne to her resume - she's filmed a spoof public service announcement urging roommates around the world to respect each other's privacy.
The Gossip Girl star plays a crazed student who makes her fellow tenant's life a misery in new movie The Roommate.
And to promote the film, Meester has poked fun at stars who take part in heartfelt charity messages by shooting a tongue-in-cheek public service announcement of her own, entitled: "Don't Touch My S---."
In the short film, posted on Collegehumor.com, the actress is seen in a shared apartment urging students who live together to leave each other's belongings alone.
She says, "I'm here with a message about an issue that's very close to my heart - an issue that affects me and millions like me every day. My message is simple: Don't touch my s---.
"We live in a world where millions of people go every day without touching my s---. Why can't you be one of them? You alone have the power to stop touching my s---, because you are the one who is touching my s---."
Meester is then shown sticking handwritten "Leighton" notes onto her property in the home and using duct tape to divide the lounge into two areas.
She then signs off: "Join me and together we can create a world where people keep their hands to themselves. You know who you are. Seriously - who taught you manners? Have some respect!"
