{alltv} 'My Life as Liz' Season 2: Liz Lee's 10 reasons she doesn't miss being cool

MTV's adorable redhead, Liz Lee, is back for Season 2 of "My Life as Liz" premiering on Tuesday, Feb. 8 at 11 p.m. ET.

Things have changed since we last saw Liz not even by a bit, but a lot. She's no longer the senior girl with the nerd herd circling her. In Season 2, Liz says goodbye to Burleson, Texas and hello to New York City.

Our "Star Wars-loving" heroine has moved more than 1,500 miles away from the conservative small town to attend art school. And as the city likes to do, it's beating the poor girl up.

Some things don't change, though. This season promises more angst, more of the robot dance and more crush-worthy boys.

Liz isn't looking back on her once-cool life with doe-eyed nostalgia either. The awkward star tells Zap2it exclusively why she doesn't mind leaving that life behind.

Here are Liz Lee's 10 reasons she doesn't miss being cool:

1. Bed head's better - I used to straighten my hair every day when I was one of the "cool kids" now I can just wake up in the morning, give it a good shake and I'm out the door.

2. Pinching pennies - I'm saving a ton of money not having to purchase the newest Hollister t-shirt with a location in California that's slightly distressed on the front.

3. Fashionotsomucha - I stopped caring about how things fit me. As long as they have something cool, like a Star Wars image on the front. I know that my nerd herd will appreciate it.

4. Music appreciation - I can go to shows and dance around and not worry about what people think about my horrible robot - what a concept! If I couldn't let myself go, I would probably end up in a corner looking like those people that act like they have something better to do, like check their nonexistent text messages.

5. All down heel - I have no clue how to walk in heels, so I end up looking horrible in them - just picture putting Peyton Manning in a pair. Not a good look!

6. Not the cool guy? Awesome - It's much easier to find guys now. I don't have to worry about what people think of who I'm dating. All I'm looking for is a nerdy, funny and smart guy. Taped together glasses earn major points.

7. Shopping sux - Gone are the days of rummaging through clothing racks. Now my staple shopping destinations are comic book stores or hopping online. I don't have to worry about walking into Abercrombie with all of those awkwardly beautiful people. The topless dudes make me really uncomfortable.

8. Game time - I don't have to be a closet gamer. Now my friends completely understand if I have to barricade myself in my room for hours to finish a level.

9. It's A Marvel-ous Life - I am now free to unleash my comic book passion. I have people to talk about comic books with. It's great to have others that share my obsession.

10. Friends = Clones - I have people that share my appreciation for Star Wars. My friends will watch the original trilogy with me and not just the prequel, which is very important for a nerd. You need those kinds of people in your life. Now I don't have to rely on my mother pretending like she's remotely interested.
