Let's hear it for Romeo DiCaprio!
The rapper/actor and his professional partner Chelsie Hightower scored "Dancing With the Stars" Season 12's first 10 with their gorgeous Waltz set to -- wait for it! -- Celine Dion's "My Heart Will Go On." Hey, it was Guilty Pleasures Week. He joked that the day he saw "Titanic" when he was 8 years-old was the day he became Romeo, saying, "I was a hopeless romantic after that."
In the pre-performance package, Chelsie said she really wanted Romeo to get a 10 -- the first one of the season -- and pushed him hard in order to get it. At the end of their Waltz, Romeo surprised Chelsie with a kiss. "I was just going with the flow," he said after the performance. Here's what the judges had to say about their Waltz:
Carrie Ann Inaba: "Every once in a while in a season, magic happens. That was magical. I was transported."
Len Goodman: "I think you dance with great maturity and it's absolutely unexpected. It was a very touching and poignant performance."
Bruno Tonioli: "I say Romeo DiCaprio, your ship will sail on and on and on. You achieved a new level of poise, grace and attention to detail."
Inaba gave them a 10 while Tonioli and Goodman both scored them couple with a 9. Of scoring the season's first 10, Romeo says, "It feels great. It shows that hard work pays off. I never thought I'd come this far."
What did you think of Romeo's Waltz, Zappers?
