Will Ferrell and
Adam McKay's "Funny or Die" Web site has been shooting videos encouraging young people to vote just days before the election. The three-minute spots shot by "Zombieland" director
Ruben Fleischer feature former
Obama White House staffer
Kal Penn and
Rashida Jones of "The Office," who was once linked to White House speechwriter
Jon Favreau. The scripts emphasize that it takes just 10 minutes to vote and are packed with pop-culture laughs about tasks that take longer, such as, "Finish a war that somebody else started. Wait, actually, that will take 10 years" and, "searching (online) for
Lindsay Lohan rehab updates." Performers featured in the videos -- which have yet to be posted -- are believed to include
Michael Pena,
Donald Glover,
Alyssa Milano,
Rose McGowan,
Ron Livingston,
Gillian Jacobs,
Brad Goreski,
Criss Angel,
Chris Gorham,
Shannon Elizabeth,
Armie Hammer,
Eric McCormack,
Eriq LaSalle and
Mary Lynn Rajskub.
