{alltv} Gum rescue for LuAnn de Lesseps' earring

Talk about ingenuty. "Real Housewives of New York" star Countess LuAnn de Lesseps was on her way to the Lord & Taylor party for VH1 Save the Music on Tuesday night when her earring fell off in the car. After she put it back on, it dropped off again -- so she whipped out some chewing gum and pasted it on, a source reports. No one on the red carpet suspected, and when she later arrived at Indochine for dinner with her boyfriend, wine importer Jacques Azoulay, she asked for Pinot Grigio and scissors to "cut the gum out of her hair."
