Fast National ratings for Tuesday, June 28, 2011
The final performances on "The Voice" carried NBC to a sizable ratings victory Tuesday night. The show was even with last week in adults 18-49 and improved some in total viewers, while "America's Got Talent" was also steady.
NBC drew 12.4 million viewers and a 7.2 rating/12 share in households in primetime, cruising to victory over CBS (7 million, 4.7/8). ABC came in third with 5.1 million viewers and a 3.0/5. FOX (3.2 million, 1.9/3) came in fourth, and The CW was well off the pace with about 650,000 viewers and a 0.4/1.
"AGT" and "The Voice" dominated the 18-49 demographic, giving NBC a 3.9 average for the night. ABC was the best of the rest with a 1.6, followed by FOX, 1.3, and CBS, 1.1. The CW drew a 0.2.
