We're less than a month away from Comic-Con, the massive fan-focused convention held annually in San Diego that has become something of a testing ground for shows and movies that might get a boost from a fan-boy (and girl) audience.
In that spirit, FOX on Tuesday (July 5) announced plans for this year's "Glee" panel. According to a release, show creators Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, along with some unidentified cast members, will show some footage and answer questions on Sunday, July 24 in Hall H.
And there will be plenty to ask about considering the new directions the show will apparently be going in for its third season. Murphy recently hired six veteran TV writers to pen season three and announced that he won't be welcoming any guest stars, but instead focusing on the main characters. Oh, and he recently dropped Chord Overstreet (Sam) from the cast and let slip that some of our favorite Gleeksters will graduate at the end of season three to make room for fresh faces.
We'll be there.
In the release, FOX also announced the other shows they'll be taking to Comic-Con including the highly anticipated "Alcatraz," "Fringe," "The Simpsons" and the upcoming animated version of "Napoleon Dynamite."
