BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. - Billy Ray Cyrus was asked what advice he has given his 17-year-old daughter and Hannah Montana co-star Miley Cyrus through the years.
"Two pieces, both of which came from my dad," Billy Ray said. "One is, when you don't know which way to go, stand still. "The other one is, if you ain't having fun, it ain't working. And you know, Miley and I both, throughout these four seasons of Hannah Montana, we've had to apply that a few times, with things getting stressful or whatever.
"Sometimes things kind of build up on you and every now and then we just look at each other and say, 'If you ain't having fun, it ain't working.' And somehow that would just lighten the load a little bit."
The debut episode of the fourth and final season of Hannah Montana - dubbed Hannah Montana Forever - airs Wednesday across Canada on the Family Channel.
